Snail farm «RATOV»

The «RATOV» snail farm is located near the Mir Castle, in the village of Dolginovo. Here snails live and grow according to European and Eurasian standards in the most native conditions. The farm opened in 2014. Three varieties of edible snails are grown here: Pomatia, Maxima, Muller. The last two varieties were first brought to Belarus straight from the snail breeding institute in Italy specifically for growing on a farm. On the farm, they not only grow, but also prepare their own delicious delicacy from snail fillet. All the dishes that are on the menu of the farm can be tasted immediately after the excursion part.

Snails are known to be a favorite delicacy in France and many other countries. The meat of farm gastropods is tender, juicy and, of course, healthy. Does not contain cholesterol and consists of more than 90% protein.
The farm workers are working hard so that every gourmet can enjoy this tempting taste. Clams will bring a touch of originality and freshness to the diet. They are very easy to digest and saturate with energy for a long time.
