Monument to Sophia Slutskaya

Monument to Sophia Slutskaya built in the Slutsk in the late of twentieth century. The authors of the monument - sculptor Michael Inkov and architect Nikolai Lukyanchik.
The monument represents the image of the Holy Sophia Slutskaya, made of bronze, standing in the background of the arch. The arch consists of three «petals», which symbolize the Christian church. The gesture of the left hand of Princess - the call to stop and think.
Sophia Slutskaya - the last representative of the princely family of Olelkovich, who in 1984 was canonized by the Belarusian Orthodox Church.
