Description

Basilian Monastery - architectural monument of the late Baroque style.

Erected in 1769 at the expense of the genus Sangushek. In the same year, the monastery was built church.

In 1804 the monastery of Basilian was eliminated and transferred to the temple of the Orthodox Church.

In Soviet times, the parish belonged only to the temple, and in the monastery building housed the military enlistment office. Only in 1996 it returned the parish.

In 2004 the Synod of the Belarusian Orthodox Church decided to revive the monastery.
