Posad Trinity of ancient Mogilev

Posad Trinity of ancient Mogilev XVI - XVIII centuries is located on the left bank of the Dnieper River and stretches along the modern Pushkin Avenue and st. Chaussy. The famous name of this place - «Lupolovo». In ancient times it was an important trading hub. There was a well-developed agriculture, horticulture, craft workshops were created. The area was famous for making and selling leather goods.

Suburb suffered greatly during numerous wars, when the buildings were destroyed, looted property, killed citizens. To this day preserved only the foundation Trinity Cathedral.

Now the area Trinity suburb is a historical and cultural value, archaeological sites protected by the state.
