Description

In 1669 it was founded Benedictine monastery by Ganna Preslavska on the outskirts of the town. The first nuns came here from the dissolved monastery in occupied by Russia Smolensk. The complex consists of finding the church of the Holy Cross (not preserved) and residential housing. Residential building of the monastery was built in 1801, there were up to the monastery in 1850 after the uprising in 1863 in the monastery was a prison for political prisoners. Now restored and preserved the monastery building is a residential of school.
