Churc of Virgin Nativity in Lyahovec

This image became one of the earliest known depictions of the Mother of God in Belarus and is now preserved in the Chapel of St. Nicholas. The current church building was erected in 1713. In the 19th century, the church underwent reconstruction, with a wooden bell tower added that harmoniously blended into the overall ensemble. During the Soviet period, on September 12, 1964, the church was closed, but decades later, in 1988, the revival of church life began.
