Description

Park Yanka Kupala is located on the bank of the river Svisloch. It was founded in 1949 and was named the 30th anniversary of the Byelorussian SSR.

By the day of the 80th anniversary of the birth of Yanka Kupala (1962), the park was renamed and became known as Kupala, as it is here before the war, so the family lived. On the 90th anniversary Pesnyar (1972) was carried out the reconstruction of the park and a memorial complex dedicated to the memory of the poet. Its authors - Belarusian sculptors A. Anikeichik, Gumilevsky L., A. Zaspitsky; Architects - Yu Grad, L. Levin.

The park ensemble in a single merged Belarusian nature, so beloved poet, fountain "Wreath" Literary Museum of Yanka Kupala and the monument to the poet.
