Description

Church of Krestovozdvizhenskaya was built in the neo-Russian style in 1930 on the site of burned down temple, built in 1905-1906 years.
During the Great Patriotic War rector Eugene Misiejuk organized at the parish wide range of activities in support of the front, for which he received a thank you letter from the marshal Zhukov. Once, when the Soviet troops were discovered three bells, prepared by the Germans to remelt , marshal ordered to transfer their to the temple in Omelenec.
In 1960, the Soviet authorities were going to destroy the temple, but the parishioners managed to save it.
In the five-domed Church of the architectural plan - one chapter was erected in honor of Jesus Christ, and four others - his four evangelists Matvey, Luke, Mark and John. Next to the church is a cemetery.
