Church of St. Joseph in Volozhin

Church of St. Joseph in Volozhin - the monument of classicism architecture is constructed in the beginning of XIX century as a church. The history of the church leaves at the time of the Middle Ages.

Church building rectangular in the plan with a 6-columned pediment and a triangular pediment a portico of the Doric warrant. The facade plane is dismembered by 4 semicircular arch niches. Nearby from a church the brama has settled down on three rings in the form of a massive arch with a 4-columned portico of the Doric warrant. During the bell First World War the bells were removed.

Today pride of parishioners and the prior – the graceful belltower erected according to ancient drawings of a church. The small ring which ksenz Tomsh has brought from Poland became heart of this updated architectural construction.
