Nikolay”s church in Staraya Belica - a monument of wooden architecture with Baroque style elements. Church building concerns first half XVIII century

Temple represents an example the three-riding wooden churches which practically haven”t saved till our time for territories of Belarus. In an iconostasis the considerable part of old icons was saved, has been rescued and a wonder-working icon of Madonna «Troeruchica».

Legends connect a temple with visiting by its Catherine II during arrival of the empress to P.A.Rumjantsev”s manor and the district city of Belica. It is considered also that under a church altar representatives of an ancient princely sort are buried.
