Description

Elias Church is built of rubble stone in 1881 in retrospect - russian style.

The area around the church fenced from the rubble. Opposite the main facade of the fence is located in the two-span Gate of bricks. Three-tiered bell tower, the first tier of which is vestibule, forms the main facade of the temple.

Compositional center of the interior is two-tiered wooden iconostasis, decorated with wood carvings. In the center of the first tier - the king”s gate, in the technique of cross-cutting thread inserts with icons. In the center of the second tier - a picturesque song ”The Last Supper» . On both sides of it are icons. The carved wooden iconostasis - a monument of national applied art, design painting in the late nineteenth - early twentieth century.
