Manor of Slatvinskie in Rovanichi

Manor of Slatvinskie in Rovanichi - an architecture monument of classicism . Anton Slatvinsky has started to create manor; it in 1799 has put here the church intended for a patrimonial tomb in honor of the heavenly cartridge - St. Antonij. A church ceiling have painted on iconographic scenes, on one of walls have represented an illusory altar. In manor there was a manour house and economic constructions - wooden and stone. The garden with kitchen gardens, nurseries and a greenhouse, surrounded with numbers of lindens, was perceived as park. In the middle of 19 centuries Anton”s son - Ljudvik, marshalok of the Minsk province, has radically reconstructed manor: at it has appeared  a palace, on change to a garden the landscape park with ponds in a fluvial plain has come. Collections of porcelain and the meeting of pictures, archive Minsk area and library decorated a palace.

Two wings - the kitchen and an apartment house - adjoined a palace, forming a traditional smart court yard with an oval lawn. The landscape part of park took place behind a palace and became isolated three big ponds divided by dams on the river Ushe.

Manor basic elements have escaped. Till 1993 the palace building was occupied with Rovanichi local hospital. Now in one of wings there is a youth center, in the former economic construction the Rovanichi rural recreation center takes place. The big landscape park was saved also.
