Monument to Lenin in Gomel

The main monument in the city is a monument to Lenin on the central area of Gomel - Lenin Square. Erected in 1958 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Belarusian BUSSR. Bronze figure mounted on a granite pedestal. Sculptor Mikatadze, architector Spirin. Height of figure 6 meters, 3 meters height of the pedestal, the total height of 9 meters. Adjacent to the granite pedestal stands.
