Mother of God Ruzhantsova and St. Dominic Church or, as it is called Rakowskaya Catholic Church, is located on the western outskirts of the village of Rakov, on the right bank of the river Isloch. It was built in 1906 with the help of the owners of Rakov at that time - the Zdzehovskies landlords. Their mansion stood in front of the church, on the bank of Isloch, near the ancient town.

In its construction architects used the yellow-brick, trying to keep all the basic forms and architectural canons of the medieval Gothic style (two-towered basilica with three naves, etc.) to convey the spirit of the long gone era. However you can see strong influence of modernity in small details (meticulously constructed seam of brickwork, etc.). After the Second World War the church had not been functioning. In 1990 Mother of God Ruzhantsova and St. Dominic Church was returned to believers.
