In its construction architects used the yellow-brick, trying to keep all the basic forms and architectural canons of the medieval Gothic style (two-towered basilica with three naves, etc.) to convey the spirit of the long gone era. However you can see strong influence of modernity in small details (meticulously constructed seam of brickwork, etc.). After the Second World War the church had not been functioning. In 1990 Mother of God Ruzhantsova and St. Dominic Church was returned to believers.
