Description

Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin in the village Pleban was built in 1855. During the uprising of 1863-1864 in this temple rebels squad Yu Bokshanskogo stored weapons. In 1872, the space was converted into a church. In Soviet times, the church building in ruins.

In 2007, the efforts of the priest. Paul Khodakovsky ruins of buildings were transferred to the Orthodox believers in use. The temple was rebuilt as the Orthodox church of the Assumption, which also renovated chapel of St. Sergius of Radonezh. The temple is ascribed to the Holy Protection Church Village Red.
