Description

Church of St. Apostle Andrew and the Monastery of Trinitarian in Krivichi - a monument of baroque architecture. Were built in the period from 1776 to 1796 years on donations from local gentry Andrew Vladislav Ukolski and his wife Teresa. The territory is surrounded by a stone wall with brama in the center. Church is one nave church with three-tiered tower at the entrance. The interior of the church is richly decorated. The most prominent are the altar with a sculpture and rich modeling. In the center is the miraculous statue of Christ of Nazareth, and the wooden pulpit. In the church the relics of St. Andrew Bobola, the martyr of Polesie. Two storey residential building of the monastery, adjacent to the church. The hospital at the monastery for those in need began to operate at the beginning of XIX century. Wooden building next to the hospital was a small wooden building housing the monastery. After the uprising of 1831-1832 years monastery was closed.
