Monument rebel 1863 in Kolodnoe

The monument to the rebels in 1863 is set in 1981 in the south-east of the village, near the railway crossing.
In preiod of national liberation uprising of 1863-1864, the rebel troops led by R. Traugutt and J. Vankovich in May-June, 1863, made a raid from Pinsk to Polesye. In the battle of Stolin rebels inflicted punitive forces considerable losses. However, to the aid of the king's troops arrived, the additional forces, and in the village Kolodnoe rebel troops were surrounded and dispersed.
