The monument made by sculptor G. Markov in 1912 in honor of the victory of Russian army in   Patriotic War of 1812 , the against the invasion of Napoleon”s troops .

On the pedestal of granite boulders set bronze eagle with outstretched wings and a laurel wreath in its claws, before the monument - the mortar with the pyramids of the nuclei. On the front face, side faces of the pedestal - three marble plaques. In the central affixed to the board: «Russian soldiers who won their first victory over Napoleon”s troops within Russia July 15, 1812”
