Description

Lepel Church of St. Casimir - Catholic church of the diocese of Vitebsk, founded by the order Lev Sapieha back in the 1602 - 1604 years. Because of the numerous fires the church was rebuilt several times. Its modern look in the classical style temple found in 1876.

The church belongs to the type of two-towered nave basilica with a transverse transept. Volumes of the temple form a stepped composition. The main facade of the building is completed by a triangular pediment.

The Church of St. Casimir refers to the historical and cultural heritage of Belarus, the temple was consecrated and opened to the congregation.
