Description

Trinity Church in Vysokoe on the historical legend, was built of wood in the days Vytautas. Already in 1603 a new stone church at the expense of Andrew Wojna was erected on the site of the wooden church. In the following centuries the church was rebuilt several times. The building from 1785 has long been the hospital, but in Soviet times even gym local vocational school.

Now the temple is a brick building in the style of baroque with a three-nave layout and a two-tower facade. Interior decoration of the church to this day has not been preserved.

Trinity Church in Vysokoe is one of the oldest and most beautiful temples of the Brest Polesie.
