The memorial sign at the site of the estate of R.L.Traugutt

The memorial sign in the form of a large boulder with a memorial plaque installed on the meadow - where was burned estate of R.L.Traugutt , in 2003. This is not the first memorial sign, which was installed here - in 1933 there was a large oak cross with a low fence and a large boulder.
Romuald Traugutt was born in the Shestakovo village in 1826. He took part in the Crimean War in 1853-1856, respectively. He was one of the leaders of the Polish uprising of 1863-1864, took energetic measures for the radicalization of the uprising and for the strengthening of the rebel forces. In April 11, 1864, by the verdict of the court of the king, was arrested and executed.
