Description

The Catholic Church of St. Peter and Paul is on the main square of Logishin. The church was built in 1907 - 1909 years by efforts of the parishioners and the priest S.Voytka and consecrated in 1913. It is an architectural monument of new-Gothic.

The church has an asymmetrical composition. The windows are narrow like loopholes. The ends of the gable roof covered toothed forceps. There is a very popular icon in the church. It is named ”Logishinskaya Mother of God - Protecting of Polesie”. The icon got in Logishin together with the Swedish army. It soon became famous. The icon is healing of ailments and doing other miracles.
