National Palace of Sports

Sports Palace was built in 1966 by architects S. Filimonovym and V. Malyshevym. In terms of building is square. There are hockey ground (30х61 m) and asymmetric stationary platform for 4000 viewers, 2 sports halls, administration and support facilities in the palace.

Project of the Palace was successful in 60-70 years of XX century, found its repetition in some cities of the Soviet Union (Vilnius Volgograd, Dnepropetrovsk and Chelyabinsk).

In 1999 the indoor ice rink was built near the palace. In the Palace of Sports held sporting event of national and international importance, mass sports events and concerts.
