Description

In 2003 on the territory of the National Park Belovezhskaya Pushchaa new cultural and tourist site opened - the residence of the Belarusian Ded Moroz,which marked the beginning of the formation of a new tradition of celebrating the New Year holidays for children and adults. Now, along with the opportunity to stay in comfortable hotels and guest houses, taste Belarusian cuisine, take walks along ecological trails, and receive a wide range of entertainment services, there is the opportunity to meet the world of a fairy tale.

The residence of Ded Morozis located in the depths of the forest, surrounded by a protected forest on a former bison nursery, where bison used to come to feed in winter. The total area of the estate is15 hectares. The residence includes the estate of Ded Moroz itself with a throne room and an office on the first floor, a bedroom and a balcony on the second. On the porch of his home, guests are greeted by Ded Moroz himself and his granddaughterSnegurochka. Snegurochka's one-story house stands somewhat more modestly to the side. There is a «Treasure Box» - a repository of gifts, as well as letters, drawings, photographs and crafts sent by children to Ded Moroz. There is also a Museum of Ded Moroz, which contains antiques.

At the entrance, guests are greeted by two wooden knights - Dub-Dubovich and Elm-Vyazovich. A windmill, a magic well and a number of other fairy-tale objects were built on the territory of the residence. There is a pond in which the Frog Princess swims. The residence is decorated with numerous sculptures of fairy tale heroes - Pinocchio, pike, goat, hare, bear and others. The estate has sculptural groups and wooden compositions based on the fairy tales “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” and “The 12 Months”. Each month has an image of its corresponding horoscope sign. According to legend, if you touch your month and make a wish, it will definitely come true.
