Architecture
The former bank building on Sovetskaya Street in Bobruisk is an architectural monument in the Art Nouveau style, typical of the early 20th century. The façade is decorated with elegant stucco elements, arched windows, and a massive entrance portal that emphasizes the institutional status of the building. Special attention is drawn to the original decorative details and the symmetry of the composition. Despite its strict form, the building has a striking aesthetic and fits harmoniously into the historical part of the city.
Excursions
The former bank building is included in the route of many excursions across Belarus, especially those focused on the architecture and history of Belarusian towns. During an excursion from Minsk, tourists can learn about the role of financial institutions in pre-revolutionary Bobruisk, hear fascinating historical facts about the building, and admire its exterior. The excursion includes an external viewing only, as the Bobruisk Forestry College currently occupies the building, but the architectural details are available for close inspection.
