Area of the 1000th anniversary

The area of the 1000th anniversary of the so-called in honor of the anniversary of the city of Vitebsk. It is the center of the historic city. This area received the name in 1974. All the buildings face the waters of the Western Dvina. On the square stands the Church of the Annunciation beginning of the XII century.
