History
The church was built in the late 1990s – early 2000s. The consecration took place on March 5, 2011, and in 2012, a dome was installed on the octagonal drum of the main structure. The church became one of the few in Belarus dedicated to Saint Juliana of Olshany, the patroness of spiritual purity and steadfastness in faith.
Architecture
The church is made of silicate brick and consists of a rectangular prayer hall with an octagonal drum and onion-shaped dome, as well as a narthex with a separate four-sided tented bell tower. The facades are decorated with red brick elements — cornices, arched openings, and ornamental gables.
Cultural and religious significance
The church serves as a spiritual center for the agrotown of Olshany and nearby villages. It hosts regular services, prayer gatherings, religious processions, and events dedicated to the feast day of Saint Juliana — July 19. The church is considered a local shrine, attracting both pilgrims and tourists exploring the religious heritage of the Brest Region.
