Monument to M.Bogdanovich
Description
The monument to Maxim Bogdanovich is set near the Opera and Ballet Theatre December 9, 1981 for the 90th anniversary of the poet's birth. Authors of the monument - sculptor S.Vakar and architects Yu.Kazakov and L.Moskalevich

The bronze figure of the poet height of 4.6 meters is on the avenue, leading to the wide staircase in front of the entrances to the building of the theater, in the right hand - a bunch of cornflowers, flowers, which Maxim Bogdanovich called «tsvyatkom radzіmy»
.
In 2008, a monument to Maxim Bogdanovich was sent for restoration, and in its place was planned to build the fountain. Since it is the government's decision aroused strong dissatisfaction of the public, in the same year, a monument was erected again.
