National film Studio «Belarusfilm» is one of the leading studios in Eastern Europe with a complete production cycle of film, video and television products of any complexity. The complex of the film Studio «Belarusfilm» is located in the picturesque part of the city of Minsk at its main highway – Independence Avenue. The complex of shops and services is equipped with modern equipment, which allows film production at a high technical level. In three shooting pavilions scenery for feature films of various genres are under construction.

Film production in Belarus began in 1924, which resulted in the creation of the first feature film «forest true story» (1926).

During the great Patriotic war Belarusian documentary filmmakers shot front-line reports, created a partisan chronicle of the Republic. After the war in 1945 the film Studio «Soviet Belarus» resumed its activity.

Significant successes of the Belarusian feature and documentary films are connected with the development of the great Patriotic war theme, which is devoted to the films «Konstantin Zaslonov», «the Clock stopped at midnight», «Alpine ballad» etc.

Belarusfilm Studio is a regular participant of many international film festivals. Films created at the film Studio have numerous awards and prizes at International film festivals. In 1996. the film Studio «Belarusfilm» has a National status.

Today, the national film Studio «Belarusfilm» is a vertically integrated company with a complete production cycle, capable of producing up to 15 feature films, 40 chronicle documentaries and 10 animated films per year. At the film Studio «Belarusfilm» creative projects are increasingly carried out to create feature films with filmmakers from other countries.

During the tour, visitors will be able to get acquainted with the short history of the film Studio in the exposition area of the Studio (mini-Museum), see the pavilions and scenery of films (5 pavilions), see the history of the Studio through the collected collections of props, weapons, men's, women's and military clothing, furniture and rural utensils. During the tour you can take photos and video shooting for memory.
