In May 1962 year, Main Post Office building is decorated with unusual clock. It showed not only the minsk, but also time in fifty cities in the world. The clock was with an hour chime and music. It beat every 15 minutes, and the melody of ”Motherland my dear” performed once per hour. Clock kept silent in the early 1970s years, when the decree was issued to prohibit cities superfluous sounds. By the Summer Olympic Games 1980 year clock updated, replaced the clock dial, made inscriptions of the cities in belarusian languages, and their number decreased to 35.
