Site of ancient castle Logoisk

Castle in Logoisk was a powerful stronghold on the southern borders of the Principality of Polotsk. He was on the shortest path between Polotsk and the southernmost city estates Vseslav Charodej - Mensk. This location contributed to the growth of the city. Castle surrounded by moat depth of 22 m and a width of 32 meters he was filled with water from rivers and coastal Krynica. The castle was destroyed during the war with the Swedes.
