Рouse-museum of Marc Chagall

Museum of Marc Chagall - one of the two parts of the Vitebsk Museum of Marc Chagall. Opened in 1997 year. Located in Chagal parents house, in which the artist spent his childhood.

Main exhibit of the museum is a stone house, which passed childhood and youth of Marc Chagall. The exhibition features everyday objects boundary XIX-XX centuries, copies of archival photographs, documents, works of the artist, depicting the life of the creator and his family. Exhibited a few items that belonged to the family Chagall. The exhibition consists of the following sections (rooms), ”Grocery store”, ”Boys Room”, ”Living,” ”Red Room”, ”Kitchen”. The author of the exhibition is the art solutions Yuri Chernyak. The interior of the house was reconstructed from archival documents and works of Marc Chagall, Vitebsk made ​​in the period of his life.
