History of Construction
The building was constructed in the second half of the 19th century specifically as the residence of the Vice-Governor of Grodno. During this period, Grodno was actively developing as an important administrative center, and the residence of an official had to reflect the city's status. Over the years, various officials who made important decisions for the region lived here. After the revolution, the building was used for various state purposes, and in the 20th century, it was transferred for use by city institutions. Today, it remains one of Grodno's historical landmarks.
