The monument in honor of the Komsomol underground organization «Young Avengers» was created in 1968. It is located 68 kilometers from the city of Vitebsk in the village of Obol. This is a high granite monument on which are engraved in gold letters the names of the dead young avengers.
This organization came in winter of 1941. Its members were students of 7-10 grades of the local school, a total of 38 people. The oldest of them, Euphrasinia Zen'kova, was twenty years old.
The monument is located next to the museum Obol underground. This building is an architectural monument of the 1st half of the XIX century.
