V.I. Talash was born December 25, 1844 in the Belarusian Polesie. In 1919 he organized and led the partisan detachment to fight with the polish army, which destroyed the enemy and took great spoils of war. After the Civil War was the chairman of the Novoselkovskoye Council of agriculture. At the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, he was arrested by the Germans and imprisoned. After his release, he helped the partisans. He collaborated with the Minsk underground RC. In 1943, from partisan aerodrome, he was transferred to Moscow, where he performed with propaganda stories of the workers, the soldiers, who were sent to the front. He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner, Order of the patriotic War I level. His name is given to streets in Minsk and Petrikov.
V.I. Talash buried at the municipal cemetery in Petrikov. There is a monument at the grave .
