Description
Excursion «Minsk — Dudutki — Mir — Novogrudok» is a two-day tour that will allow you to see the capital of Belarus, explore traditional crafts in Dudutki, and visit two historical cities with rich heritage — Mir and Novogrudok.
On the first day — group meeting at the railway station and a sightseeing tour of Minsk, during which you will see the main architectural ensembles, squares, and monuments of the city. After that, you will enjoy an introduction to traditional crafts in Dudutki — an open-air museum complex featuring antique machinery, working workshops, folk crafts, and Belarusian cuisine.
On the second day — a visit to Mir Castle, one of the most famous architectural monuments in Belarus, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Then — a tour of Novogrudok with a view of the castle ruins and the city’s iconic sites.
Upon request, a custom or corporate tour along the route Minsk — Dudutki — Mir — Novogrudok can be arranged according to your preferences.

Excursion to Dudutki from Minsk is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the traditions of Belarusian life, crafts and cooking, visit craft workshops, and also get many vivid impressions without going far from the city. The museum complex is located only 40 kilometers from Minsk, so the road will take a minimum of time. The entire excursion lasts 5.5 hours, including the road, which makes it a convenient option for a short trip.
During the excursion to Dudutki you will see the only working windmill in Belarus, learn the secrets of making bread, butter and traditional alcohol, and watch the work of craftsmen. The program will end with a tasting of fresh products: homemade bread, cheese, butter and local moonshine.

Mir Castle

Moving in Novogrudok (50 km)
St. Michael the Archangel Church in Novogrudok

At the beginning of the 17th century representatives of a Catholic award – Dominicans located in Novogrudka. For them the church was also built that combines elements of magnificent and festive baroque and late classicism. What was only not seen by the temple: soldiers and fires, granary and furniture warehouse, desolation and elimination of an award. However in the best times at a church the monastery and school worked. The writer and politician Adam Mickiewicz studied at school of this.
St. Nicholas Cathedral in Novogrudok

At the beginning of the 14th century the Grand duke Lithuanian Gedemin invited in Novogrudok Frantsiskantsev. About hundred years they worked on creation of the temple – Saint Anthony's church. The temple is complete - but in 50 years the Catholic award is forced to leave the monastery. However, despite destiny milestones, it reached our time, let a little modified. In the city you still should learn about its history and a role.
Adam Mickiewicz Museum

The Adam Mickiewicz House-Museum in Novogrudok is included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus (1st category). The museum is not only a biographical museum exposition, but also an “open-air” museum. The estate of the early 19th century has been restored here: a house, an outbuilding, a barn, a well, a gazebo. Among the exhibits: personal belongings (watches, glasses). The exposition includes items related to A. Mickiewicz and his entourage. Exhibitions are held in the basement of the museum and the underground passage that connects the house with the outbuilding.
Novogrudsky Castle ruins

Novogrudok – the first capital of Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The city with thousand-year history kept surprising landscapes of hills and the woods, the view of which opens from Zamkova Hora. And on it ruins of the majestic castle where many centuries Mindovg was crowned back tower. The Novogrudsky lock, located at hill top, is visible for many kilometers from the city – its towers as if giants, are cut down from a boulder, from a distance reported about power and greatness of fortress.
Farny Catholic Church in Novogrudok

Novogrudok Farny Church of the Transfiguration is one of the oldest and most significant Catholic shrines in Belarus. This church is located in Novogrudok at the foot of Zamkova Hill on 1st May Street. Built at the end of the 14th century by Grand Duke Vytautas, the church was initially constructed in the Gothic style and later rebuilt in the Sarmatian Baroque style in the 18th century.
