Excursions in the Berezinsky biospheric reserve

Annually Berezinsky biospheric reserve accepts near 25 thousands of tourists, offering various programs of stay: from one-day visitings of museum of the nature, demonstration aviary with wild animals an ecological track to specialised ecological tours lasting many days, safari-tours and raftings. Considerable interest represents a rich historical and cultural heritage of reserve: ancient burial places of Slavs, channels and constructions of a historical waterway from Baltic to Black sea, the place of the crossing of Napoleonic armies through the river Berezina of 1812, Second World War monuments, a museum of history of the land.
The Berezinsky biospheric reserve is also popular for corporate events, national and international conferences, seminars, meetings, which together with cultural events perfectly complement the excursions.

Excursions

  • A visiting of the nature museum

    120 bird species, 20 mammal species, as well as various fish species living in Berezinsky biospheric reserve are presented in three halls.
  • Excursion on the ecological track

    On a track various types of woods, bogs and other vegetative communities are presented. The excursion is combined with an entertainment animation program. «Secrets reserve swamp».
  • Excursion to open-air aviaries with wild animals

    Excursion offer visiting to open-air aviaries with the animals living in forests of Belarus (a bear, a wolf, a deer, a wild boar, a roe, a badger, etc.). This is a great opportunity to observe animals in their usual conditions.
  • Water route the river Berezina

    The route passes through the entire Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve down the middle part of the river West Berezina from north to south, combined with a hike, a visit to a forest zoo and a viewing tower.
