Regional festival of folk arts, folk arts and crafts «Drybinskiya tarzhki»

Since ancient times, on the ground Drybin Day of St. Elijah, in the first days of August, traditionally held the famous «tarzhki» - a large market. It sold everything that could be needed in the farm: horse harness, honey, herbs, pottery, baskets, household goods, hats, shoes.

The idea to revive the festival «Drybinskiya tarzhki» originated in 2011. Decision Dribin district executive committee the first regional festival of folk arts, folk arts and crafts «Drybinskiya tarzhki» was held, and it was so successful, that in 2012 received the status of a regional.

The objective pursued by the organizers of the festival - is the revival, preservation of traditional crafts and trades Dribin region, as well as the rich folklore heritage - songs, dances, oral poetry and promoting them among young people.
