Legend "Castle Hill"

Legends Of Belarus
A long time ago, a Kopyl castle stood on a mountain, and the steep slopes and the river at the foot, Kamenka, saved it from enemies. But one day the son of one sorceress drowned in her waters. The enchantress cursed the river in a rage and imprisoned it in the depths of the mountain, and from then on the castle fell into the castle. Today a source reminds of a legend that beats out from under the mountain. The old men say that if you dig up the mountain, the waters of the Kamenka will flood the whole district.
