VIII International Festival of Ethnocultural Traditions «Zov of Polesie» (August 20, 2024)

Every two years, the agricultural town of Lyaskovichi hosts the festival of ethnocultural traditions «Zov of Polesie» which is aimed at preserving and popularizing the ethnocultural traditions of Polesie, studying and supporting the rich historical and cultural heritage of the region, and strengthening creative ties of border regions. In 2024 the festival will gather guests for the eighth time on August 20.

In the festival program:

• performances of professional and authentic groups;
• operation of interactive platforms;
• master classes from artisans;
• a variety of games and attractions.

In addition, the festival will present the original culture of the Poleshuks: their folk holidays, crafts, folklore and rituals.

Place: Gomel region, Petrikovsky, Lyaskovichi village.
