Theatrical ritual festive «Peter’s wreath»
Peter's Wreath is a bright and unforgettable action that has already become a tradition for residents and guests of the agricultural town of Petrevichi. Creative workers and members of amateur groups on a decorated wagon will travel around the village and congratulate fellow villagers on the holiday, sing songs and, according to tradition, present a wreath to the most hospitable hosts, which they will then throw on the roof of the house. According to legend, the longer the wreath lies on the roof, the more good will be in the house, the harvest will be better and healthier. The central street of the agro-town will turn into a real festive platform: the best music, congratulations, contests and folk games. Everyone will be able to remember and dance long-forgotten dances - Polechka, Padyspan and Krakowiak.
