Since ancient times the Slavs celebrated the Veles night. According to popular beliefs, on this night, the boundaries between the worlds become thinner and the souls of ancestors can visit their descendants living in Yavi.
Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve has developed a special program to celebrate this Slavic holiday:
October 30
from 12:00 - Check-in at the hotel complex «Serguch» (You must have your passport with you)
13:00 - 15:00 - Lunch at the restaurant «Serguch» (optional for an additional fee)
15:00 - Watching a film about the reserve in the House of Environmental Education.
Creative master-class («Amulet» doll)
16:30 - Excursion to the Museum of Mythology
(it is here that you will learn about how the ancient Slavs saw the light, i.e. our
ancestors)
17:00 - 20:00 - Travel along the ecological path «In the land of myths».
Myths, legends, fortune-telling, bonfire treats.
21:00 - 00:00 - Themed dinner with an entertainment program in the restaurant «Serguch»
October 31st
9:00 - 11:00 - Breakfast at the restaurant «Serguch»
11:00 - 12:30 - Mythological quest «The Way of Mary»
(on the eco trail «Discovery Trail»)
12:30 - 18:00 - Activations of your choice (optional for an additional fee): lunch at the GC
«Serguch», visiting aviaries, museum of nature, museum of honey, rental
bicycles, horseback riding or carriage rides
until 18:00 - Late check-out from GC «Serguch». Departure from the reserve.
