«Kalyady» (December 23, 2017)
December 23, 2017 celebration of Kalyady will be held in the Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Life.
«Kalyady» is an ancient pre-Christian holiday dedicated to the day of the winter solstice. In those days our ancestors avoided the neighbors yard with a group of entertainers, performing with carols. During this rite the participants received refreshments.
Belarusian Skansen invites everyone to celebrate the Kalyady.
The program is expected to:

- folk dances, songs, fun
