Сontest «Belarus Know» is held annually since 2002. Legal and the physical persons occupied in the industry of tourism can take part in it.
Organizers of competition are the Ministry of sports and tourism of Belarus, National agency of tourism and newspaper edition «Tourism and rest».

Solemn ceremony of rewarding of winners traditionally runs in the end of a summer season and is dated for the World day of tourism. The jury which structure includes recognized experts, chooses the winner from three applicants in each of following nominations:

• «For development of entrance tourism»,
• «For development of internal tourism»,
• «the Best excursion»,
• «the Best consolidator on exit tourism»,
• «the Best airline company in tourism»,
• «the Best innovative project in tourism»,
• «the Leader in advancement of tourist services»,
• «For the contribution to development of the Belarus tourism»,
• «the Best accomodation state»,
• «For the creative approach according to tourism»,
• «I know Belarus»

the Diploma and the Memorable sign on the competition, which logo is handed over to Winners of competition It will be possible to use in the advertizing-information purposes within one year. Competition «Belarus Know» is directed for assistance to development of internal and entrance tourism in Belarus.
