XXVII International Festival of Organ Music «Zvany Safii» in the concert hall of St. Sophia Cathedral

This year in Polotsk there is a double holiday - the beginning of the 40th anniversary concert season in St. Sophia Cathedral and the International Festival of Organ Music \"The Calls of Safi\". October 23 we invite guests and residents of our city to a concert of the Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Ksenia Pogorelaya and the owner of the coloratura soprano, laureate of international competitions and festivals, Russian singer Lyudmila Tratsevskaya.

Traditionally, the central event will be the opening of the festival. The organist of St. Sophia Cathedral Ksenia Pogorelaya and the Europe-Center chamber orchestra conducted by Rail Sadykov delight their fans with new bright programs every year. This festival will not be an exception. October 30 in the concert hall of St. Sophia Cathedral, along with the masterpieces of ancient music, the Polotsk premiere of the work by the Belarusian composer Alexander Litvinovsky - Suite for string orchestra \"Le Grand Cahier\" will be performed.

Russian duo of organ and voice — Anastasia Bykova and Svetlana Belyakova — will perform November 6. The concert program will include works by the great classics J. S. Bach, G. F. Handel, A. Scarlatti, W. A. Mozart, T. Albinoni.

Leading Belarusian soloists, laureates of international competitions Ekaterina Nikolaeva (organ) and Tatyana Kormazinova (flute) will present the music of French romanticism to the listeners 13 November.

On November 20 organ music fans will hear the great toccatas by D. Buxtehude, Ch.-M. Vidor, J. S. Bach, L. Boelman, A. Piazzolla performed by Russian organist, harpsichordist, composer Fyodor Stroganov.

The festival of music will end November 27 with the program \"Two Geniuses: Vivaldi and Bach\". Laureate of the Russian award \"Organist of the Year - 2021\", soloist of the Tyumen Philharmonic Maria Blazhevich will perform in Polotsk for the first time.
