Ritual event «Kolyada» in Strochitsy

Strochitsy Museum of Folk Architecture December 26, 2020 invites you to one of the largest traditional holidays in both Christian and ancient traditions - Kolyada! A unique opportunity to take part in this enchanting and fun holiday that our ancestors celebrated for centuries!

The Kolyada holiday has a deep sacred meaning, and at the same time, it always reflected the desire of ordinary people to take a break from life\'s worries and add a good mood to everyday life . In the program of the event :

• show of traditional puppet theater - Batleiki;
• reconstruction of the celebration «Pershay, sluggish kutsts»;
• bypassing the courtyards «Kalyadoshchykamі»;
• screening of the Vyartap shadow theater;
