The grand opening of the museum took place on June 1, 2019. Here in the national park, surrounded by impassable swamps and forests, on the banks of the Pravaya Lesnaya river, ancient sites of the Stone, Bronze and Iron Age were found. It was not by chance that a decision was made to build an open-air archeological museum in this unique place that has no analogues in our country, which will make it clear how the ancient people lived at the dawn of «the appearance of bronze and iron».
Tourists are offered sightseeing tours of the museum’s expositions, participation in master classes in various ancient handicrafts and crafts: ceramic molding techniques, wood carving, weaving, painting fabrics with natural materials, etc., serving of traditional dishes, selling souvenirs.
A visit to the Archaeological Museum is possible within the excursion to national park Belovezhskaya Pushcha: «Brest Fortress - Belovezhskaya Pushcha», «Brest - Belovezhskaya Pushcha (2 days)» and «Belovezhskaya Pushcha (from Brest)».
