Knightly Festival Gonar prodkau

Knightly Festival «Gonar prodkau 2017» aims to popularize the historical heritage of Belarus - the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and its neighboring countries of the 11th - 16th centuries, develop sword and sword sports in the Republic of Belarus, preserve the traditions of medieval and folk art, skills and secrets of ancient traditions and crafts.

At the festival «Gonar prodkau 2017» you will get acquainted with the history, culture and way of life of the population of the GDL and its neighbors, you will see a medieval military camp and the reconstruction of fights and knights tournaments, you can take part in medieval games and games, and listen to medieval music. On the site of the festival in the \"Nizhniy park\" in the town of Vileika there will be built a real ancient settlement with a castle and a medieval city. The festival will be attended by clubs of historical reconstruction from Belarus and Russia, craftsmen, musicians.
