Theatrical reconstruction of the Naroch Offensive Operation

Museum of History of the Republic of Belarus in cooperation with tour portal Ekskursii.by inviting March 25, 2016 at 17.00 on presentation of historical and battle painting, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the offensive Naroch operation of Russian Imperial Army.

Theatrical, reconstructive program, as well as photos from the photographer Andrew Matsuura will immerse you in the events of the First World War and the lake Naroch offensive. The pictures author - young Belarusian artist Vladimir Saiko captures one of the tragic events of World War I, which took place in the area of the Naroch lake in March 1916. On the canvas depicts soldiers of the 5th company of the 3rd Siberian Infantry Regiment, which led to the attack by seventeen year old volunteer Evgeniya Vorontsova, who was tragically killed in this attack. To be the most reliable in the work, Vladimir Saiko held a serious research: the collected documents, picked up the archives, consulted with historians and Assist.
