Museum of nature of National Park ”Belovezhskaya Puscha”

Museum of Nature National Park Belovezhskaya Puscha was established in 1919 (present-day territory of Poland). In 25th December 1939 created State Reserve "Belovezhskaya Pushcha" (since 1991 to the national park). After World War II, in February 1945, resumed work on the collection of exhibits for the museum. In 1949, construction began on the complex administration building, including the museum. In 1952, the museum was opened to visitors. The opening of the new building of of nature museum in 2009 was dedicated to the 600th anniversary of the reserve status of Belovezhskaya Puscha. The museum has 3 large and 2 small themed rooms with a total area of 1320 m², which are mainly faunal collection with the addition of certain elements of the plant world. Display area halls of the museum is 1320 m². Presented by   26 permanent ekspozitsiy. Number of museum objects is more 1000 exhibits. In the halls of the museum housed projection screens, which are shown photographs of natural, historical and cultural sites of Belovezhskaya Puscha . For conferences and meetings in the building of the museum has a conference hall with 140 seats.
